Although we’re unable to edit the contents of your order after it’s been placed, we can often help you edit your shipping address or cancel your order completely depending on how far along your order is in the packaging process.

Replacement & Return Policy

At Bella & Pal, we stand behind the quality of every product we sell. We provide two independent services to support your purchase:

  • 45-Day Return & Exchange Policy
  • One-Year Replacement Warranty (Eligible Products)

Each service operates independently with its own terms and eligibility requirements. Refer to the detailed sections below for specific guidelines.

PART 1: 45-DAY RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

1.1 Return Eligibility

You may request a return within 45 days of receiving your item, provided:

  • The item is unused and unworn
  • The item is in original condition with original packaging
  • You have your proof of purchase
  • The item has not been washed, altered, or damaged
  • The item is not on the non-returnable list (see below)

1.2 Non-Returnable Items

  • Dog diapers, dog toys, and pet carriers (health and safety restrictions)
  • Items that have been used, worn, washed, or altered in any way
  • Items with missing or damaged original packaging
  • Items damaged by chewing or intentional damage

Exception: Items that arrive damaged or defective due to shipping or manufacturing are handled as quality claims.

1.3 How to Request a Return

Step 1: Contact Us

  • Required information: Order number, date of purchase, reason for return
  • Optional: Photos or description of condition

Step 2: Wait for Approval

  • We'll respond within 48 business hours to confirm whether your return is eligible
  • Do not ship items without approval. Items sent without authorization will not be accepted

Step 3: Ship Your Return

  • Once approved, we'll provide return shipping instructions
  • For quality-related issues (damaged, defective, wrong item): Return shipping is covered by Bella & Pal
  • For non-quality returns (changed mind, wrong size, doesn't fit): You pay for return shipping
  • Include your order number inside the package
  • Use tracked shipping; we are not liable for packages lost in transit without tracking

Step 4: Receive Your Refund or Replacement

  • Upon receipt, we'll inspect your return
  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method
  • Allow 3–7 business days for your bank or card issuer to process the refund
  • You may request a refund as store credit or gift card
  • For exchanges, once your return is approved, place a new order for the item you'd like

Note:

  • Full refund of the product purchase price when all return conditions are met
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Shipping costs paid by the customer for non-quality related returns are non-refundable
  • Taxes or duties paid at purchase are not refunded (if applicable)

PART 2: ONE-YEAR REPLACEMENT WARRANTY

2.1 About the Service

This service provides one free replacement for manufacturing defects that occur during normal, recommended use within one year of your original purchase on eligible products only. It is separate from the 45-Day Return & Exchange Policy.

2.2 Eligible Products

  • Harnesses and collars
  • Leashes
  • Pet carriers

Check the product page — eligible products will display the "One-Year Replacement Warranty" note.

2.3 What's Covered

  • Hardware defects (buckles, clips, zippers, D-rings, snaps)
  • Stitching or structural issues affecting normal use
  • Fabric fraying or tearing under normal use

2.4 What's NOT Covered

  • Misuse or abuse
  • Physical damage (chewing, impacts, accidents)
  • Improper care contrary to instructions
  • Cosmetic wear from normal use

2.5 Important Service Details

  • This service provides one replacement only
  • The replacement item is final and not eligible for return or exchange
  • We cover shipping for the replacement item
  • Return shipping may be required
  • Different size replacements may incur price differences
  • If the original product or color is discontinued, a comparable alternative will be provided

2.6 How to Request a Replacement

  • Description of the issue
  • Photos or short video of the affected area

You can add both phone number and email during registration, and even include multiple contacts for extra security.

Yes. You can add multiple contacts so if one person is unavailable, the finder can easily reach someone else.

If the pet is marked as “Lost”, every scan will automatically notify the owner;If the pet is marked as “Safe”, the scanner must manually click to contact the owner. This helps ensure instant alerts in emergencies while avoiding unnecessary notifications when the pet is safe.

Yes. The QR code uses an HTTPS-secured link, ensuring a safe and encrypted connection.

No, user data is not shared or sold to any third parties.

When someone scans the tag, it opens a page in the scanner’s mobile browser. The browser may ask the scanner if they would like to share their location. If they agree, the location can be sent to the owner so they can quickly see where the pet was found. The scanner can also choose not to share their location and instead send their phone number to the owner for contact.
